The London School of Samba played as surprise guests with the CK Gospel Choir at the Jazz Cafe, Camden. The Bateria joined with them to perform ‘mas que nada’, a song written and originally performed by Brazilian Artist Jorge Ben to a packed house. The CK Gospel Choir, directed by Harlano, was started in 2007 have also appeared on the recently aired Children in Need. Harlano has performed with some of the biggest names in world music such as Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder. He is also an established solo artist, and his debut solo album “Who Is Harlano” topped various soul charts.

*The London School of Samba has also previously done other musical collaborations such as with Bombay Bicycle Club on a remixed version of ‘Always like This‘ where they also performed the song live at Glastonbury Festival 2010, as well as with the Guilemots for the War Child Concert held at Brixton Academy in 2006, as well as an appearance in one of the earlier seasons of Strictly Come Dancing.
