There is Samba n<em>o P\u00e9<\/em>, the carnival samba that we do here at&nbsp;the London school of Samba. The key features are&nbsp;that it is a solo dance and accompanied by a live band (Bateria). However, there are partner samba versions that include&nbsp;Samba De Gafieira&nbsp;and Ballroom samba.<\/p>\n<p>On Strictly Come Dancing they do ballroom samba. Even though the samba is completely different the TV show wanted us to help the celebrity (Danny off Hollyoaks) to feel that&nbsp;Samba vibe and energy. We parade every year at the <a href=\"https:\/\/londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/carnival\/\">Notting Hill Carnival<\/a> which is open to all abilities. Our performance group travel the UK and abroad to do shows and are available to <a href=\"https:\/\/londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/gigs\/\">hire for private functions&gt;&gt;.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All our costumes are made by hand and you can learn the techniques used at one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/costumes-at-lss\/\">costume making workshops<\/a>. You can also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/costume-hire\/\">hire one of these spectacular outfits<\/a>&nbsp;for an event. There are also regular <a href=\"https:\/\/londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/make-up-workshops\/\">Make-Up workshops<\/a> to learn how to prepare the performers for shows and carnivals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are a friendly charity whose mission is to allow people to experience the feel and emotion of Brazilian arts through samba dancing, samba drumming and carnival preparations.
