{"id":9792,"date":"2015-04-23T00:01:56","date_gmt":"2015-04-22T23:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/?p=9792"},"modified":"2021-09-17T19:35:28","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T19:35:28","slug":"xavier-paul-win-the-samba-de-enredo-competition-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\/?p=9792","title":{"rendered":"Xavier &#038; Paul win the Samba de Enredo competition 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations go to Xavier Osmir and Paul Rumbol for their winning entry for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.londonschoolofsamba.co.uk\">London School of Samba<\/a> called &#8220;Voodoo, Samba e Cabaret&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The competition, held on Wednesday 22nd April at Floripa saw three great songs battle it out to be our carnival song this year.<\/p>\n<p>First up was &#8220;O Escuro Cabar\u00e9&#8221; written by Christopher Mullins-Silverstein with arrangement by Alex Talbot. Followed by &#8220;O Cabaret Noir&#8221; by Greg Cowan, Emma Lyons, Mariana Whitehouse, Glow Crawford with thanks to Orquidea Lima.
